This morning we received a letter asking us to tell our customers about a brand new TV show called:
DON'T MIND HIM, HE'S MY MIDWIFE
The producers of this exciting new series are looking for couples who are expecting their first baby this summer.
This year marks the 50th anniversary since fathers were first allowed into the delivery suite. The programme will look at getting Dads even more involved right through the pregnancy and labour and then actually being involved as part of the delivery team.
Nearly 30 years ago, I went for my first ever scan. My (then) husband and I knew that he wouldn't be able to attend the birth as he was working abroad and wasn't due to return until a month after my due date. We begged for him to be allowed to see the scan but were told, "I don't care - he's not coming in." We were heartbroken - Tracey (KeedoUK)
